The Year of Ultimately Bad Comedies

2010 was one of the worst years for comedies at the movies, it was an overall bad year but the genre of humor suffered the worst. Heres a rundown on the awesomely bad comedies 2010 had to offer.

The Other Guys: Will Ferell, enough said. But I gave this movie a shot anyways mainly because the trailers misled me to thinking that Samuel Jacksons and Dwayne Johnson would be regulars. They were not and the brief time they were part of the movie was the only time the movie was enjoyable. Once they were gone so was the humor.

Dinner For Schmucks: Steve Carrel continues to demonstrate why he isn't a big draw, while Date Night was enjoyable Tina Fay carried the weight for both of them. Schmucks was by far Paul Rudd's worst movie so far, I couldn't be any more disappointed in this guys choice to be in this role but also how completely bad at it he was.

Lottery Ticket: Bow wow isn't a terribly bad actor in fact hes decent at times, if not for the lame stereotypes and black movie cliche's this could have been decent. This non Tyler Perry black comedy offered nothing outside the norm.

McGruber: Its based off of a bad SNL sketch.... an SNL sketch.

Get Him To The Greek: Russel Brand fails to deliver continuously and this movie is no exception add the fact they allowed Diddy to have a role, and hes terribly bad at acting, it was over kill. The plot was also just Stupid.

Grown Ups: Sadly not even Kevin James couldn't make this stale movie enjoyable while it had its moments, spread thinly, it was just one boring Adam Sandler flick you come to expect. I felt like it should have had a laugh track as hard is it tried with its overly implied humor.
